Amber Nichole Rauch, MSN, RN, CN
Amber Rauch is the care coordinator for the Orthopedic Alliance. With over nine years of experience in nursing in orthopedics and surgery, Amber is here to hold your hand during a process that can be overwhelming or scary. Amber graduated from Southwestern Adventist University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Texas Christian University in 2018, where she will soon obtain her Doctorate in Nursing.
Amber is thrilled to serve the community in which she grew up. “I believe that every patient should be cared for as if they are a family member,” said Amber. Her warm personality, clinical knowledge, and love for helping people will make her an asset to the Orthopedic Alliance.
On a typical day, you can find Amber enjoying time with her husband and two sons, ages 10 and 16. Living in the country, she enjoys riding their side by side on their ranch, fishing, and tending to their livestock.
Dr. Nicholas E. Martin, MD, MBA
Nicholas E. Martin, MD, MBA is an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee joint replacement surgery with special training in robotic assisted joint replacement. Dr. Martin is a former staff member at the Cleveland Clinic where he also completed his orthopedic surgery fellowship. He joined the Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine Institute (OSMI) in 2021.
Dr. Martin is very excited to return home to DFW and establish his practice in Mansfield. Having grown up in Arlington, graduated from Nolan Catholic High School, University Texas at Arlington, and UT Southwestern Medical School, he has very strong roots in the DFW metroplex.
Nicholas Martin, M.D. is well respected by his colleagues and is known by his patients for his compassionate bedside manner. He has a genuine passion for helping his patients understand their orthopedic issues. “My goal is to engage and relate with patients on a personal level to develop a trustful relationship.” Dr. Martin is married with three sons; Two are human and one is a dog! He loves his young family dearly and his favorite things to do include spending time with his family, enjoying the outdoors through hiking or biking, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Dr. Dalton Ryba, D.P.M. FACFAS
Dr. Ryba is a podiatrist who specializes in foot and ankle care. He holds dual board certification through the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgeons and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency at JPS (John Peter Smith) Hospital, a level I trauma center located in downtown Fort Worth. After he completed his residency, he fell in love with Fort Worth and surrounding communities.
Not only does Dr. Ryba have a passion for medicine, he also has a passion for patient care. “I treat all of my patients as family members,” he said. “My goal is to create a relationship with my patients where they feel heard.”
Dr. Ryba is married and has a one-year-old son, Parker. On a typical day you can find him spending time outdoors with his family, or cheering for his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dr. Barnard Barragan, M.D.
Dr. Barragan is a board-certified hand surgeon specialized in hand and wrist care. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington. D.C., then completed his hand surgery fellowship at Loma Linda University.
Dr. Barragan has a passion for not only diagnosing his patients but also for making sure they are completely involved in their care plan. “My favorite thing about being in medicine is having the ability to guide patients through the process of diagnostics, surgery, and recovery. My priority when I’m seeing a patient is to ensure that they feel heard.”
Dr. Barragan is married with two young daughters. On a typical day, you can find him playing various musical instruments or practicing karate!
Dr. Matthew McCabe, D.P.M., M.S.
Dr. McCabe is a podiatrist who specializes in foot and ankle surgery. He graduated from Rosalind Franklin University Medical School and completed his residency at Christus St. Patrick Hospital and Center for Orthopedics. He then went on to complete his fellowship training at the Midwest Foot and Ankle Fellowship program.
Dr. McCabe’s approach to patient care is through collaboration. “My patients and I are on the same team. I genuinely care about my patients and lose sleep over them.” He provides his patients with a thorough diagnosis and presents both conservative and surgical treatment options.
Dr. McCabe is married with four young children. On a typical day, you can find him gardening, tending to their fruit trees, hunting, or fishing. He also coaches his son’s baseball team during the fall and spring.
Dr. Shiv Patel M.D.
Dr. Shiv Patel MD, is an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in sports medicine and shoulder surgery. Patel has a strong science background with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin as well as an honors M.D. from Texas A&M University College of Medicine. He completed 5 years at John Peter Smith Hospital obtaining Level 1 trauma training in orthopedic surgery and eventually went onto participate in the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine-Burkhart Research Institute fellow in Sports Medicine in both Houston and San Antonio.
Dr. Patel’s approach to patient care is through teamwork. “We will work together to find a solution that works to give you the best possible outcome.” Dr. Patel also believes in non-operative treatment modalities. “I hope to bring those treatments to the population of the local area and provide the same opportunities for our patients as they would receive at some of the top academic centers not only in the U.S., but in the world.”
Dr. Patel is married to a radiologist who practices locally. On a typical day, you can find him running, playing soccer, or rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Dr. G. Todd Moore, D.O.
Dr. G. Todd Moore, D.O. is an orthopedic surgeon that specializes in sports medicine and has special interests in hip and knee arthroplasty, fracture care, and pediatric orthopedics. Moore went to medical school at West Virginia University then completed his residency and fellowship training at Texas Tech University.
Dr. Moore approaches patient care the same way he would for one of his own family members. Because of his bedside manner, he is a recipient of the Patients’ Choice Award for Most Compassionate Doctor. “I’m just a regular guy and I try to relate to all of my patients on a personal level,” Dr. Moore humbly states.
On a typical day, you can find Dr. Moore spending quality time with his two children and three dogs, or maintaining his personal fitness through running and exercising.
